Senderos Fronterizos

Senderos is used in my Advanced Spanish conversation class. The story is an excellent read for those wanting to improve all parts of their Spanish, (conversation, grammar, reading, writing). It is a realistic must read to understand the struggles of Mexican Immigrants coming to the US, looking for a better life, and willing to work hard, improve their skills, and contribute to improving our life. I would absolutely recommend as a must read for all US Spanish Classes.

It is very good for intermediate-and-up readers. Every day vocabulary seems especially good. And of course, a good snapshot into the life of an immigrant child.

Conmovedora, fabulosa

Este libro es una bella experiencia. Se trata de un joven mexicano y las experiencias de su familia. Trabajan como burros para sobrevivir y realmente tanto trabajo casa acaba con el padre. Pero la familia sobrevive con mucho amor. Mucha gente vive en nuestra sociedad "rica" en este pobreza y casi nunca escuchamos de las experiencias de ellos. Fue un privilegio leer este libro y entender un poco mejor de la experiencia mexicana-americana. Seria una buena cosa si mas gringos leyera este libro para entender el gran valor de los inmigrantes a este pais.
